Learning from our experience buying and renovating residential assets for our own book, we began to offer third-party services to large scale investors of residential assets over a decade ago as institutional money flowed into what eventually became a viable alternative asset class, SFR.
After sourcing and renovating pegging each individual asset to specific yield based models in real time, we then pushed into improving the lease-up process and eventually began to handle all components of property management to include marketing, leasing, move-ins, move-outs, tenant turns, and ongoing maintenance. .
It wasn’t we worked with large owners of non-performing loans spread across entire states that anyone had truly scaled the conversion of REO assets into rentals at scale. The execution of this endeavor was challenging, and much was learned.
Today, we have taken all of our combined experience drilling down into each business unit to design the process of flow from one segment to the next with optionality along the way to create one central command center for managing every aspect of converting a large diverse portfolio of defaulted loans for the purposes of examining all of the potential outcomes available and then executing as a service provider managing those various tasks.
